Description

Dolphin House is a 16th-century hall house that has been converted into cottages and extended with a shallow front projection in the early 20th century. The building features a timber frame that is rendered, with a tiled roof and a gable facing to the right-hand cross wing. This structure is partly connected to No. 85 Market Hill, known as the Hollies. Dolphin House is two storeys high and has four windows across its façade. There is a hipped, tiled entrance porch made of timber located in the second window range, and an axial stack positioned to the left of the entrance. The gable facing has purlins and verge boards that are not of great age, while there is a square stack at the cross wing, near the junction with the roof of No. 85.
