Description

Unicorns is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is timber-framed with a brick facade that has been colour-washed, and has a plain tiled roof. The house was significantly altered in the late 19th century. The gable facing Market Hill has three canted bays with mullion and transom casement windows. The elevation facing Pump Street has a scattered arrangement of windows, including some sash windows and casements. The windows are set within segmental brick arches. A modern entrance door has been installed. Chimneys are located on the ridge and lower part of the roof.
