Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage, now plastered and with a black exterior. It has a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with attics. The windows are mostly modern casements with glazing bars, with one bulls-eye window to the south gable. There are two gabled dormers, each with casements and plain tiled roofs. The entrances are via two plank doors. Brick stacks are located on the ridge, with a white cement-rendered stack to the south gable.
