Description

Butley Orford Oysterage is a house and shop located on Market Hill in Orford. It dates back to the 17th century and features a timber frame with a red brick front that was added in the late 18th to early 19th century. The building has a slated hipped roof and is two storeys tall. On the first floor, there is a modern three-light sash window with glazing bars. The shop front, which dates from the late 19th century, includes a central doorway. The building also extends down Bakers Lane.
