Description

The Town Hall, now used as a general meeting hall, was built in the early 20th century. It is a large, open hall with a modern entrance addition to the front. The building is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The elevation facing Market Hill features a Dutch gable with a five-light window. This window has transoms and mullions with leaded lights. Above the window is a segmental brick arch and a brick niche with a semi-circular head. The building is listed as an Edwardian public building constructed in a vernacular style.
