Description

Nos. 59 and 61 on Cottenham Road are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century. They are timber framed with panelled plaster and feature a long straw thatch roof. The gables are made of painted brick, and there is weather boarding as well. A painted brick ridge stack is present. The cottages are one storey with an attic, featuring two casement dormer windows and four ground floor casement windows. There are two 19th-century reed-panelled doors, each with a 19th-century gabled porch that has barge boards and finials.
