Nos. 4 and 6 Church Street are 17th-century cottages constructed with a timber frame and rough cast render, topped with a long straw thatch roof. They feature a local red brick ridge stack and are one storey high with an attic, arranged in a three-unit plan. The cottages have two horizontal sliding sash dormer windows and three similar windows on the ground floor. There are also two flush-panelled doors from the 19th century.
