Description

Bell House is a house dating from the mid to late 16th century. It features an exposed timber frame and a modern pantile roof with a rebuilt ridge stack. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan. On the upper floor, there are two modern casement dormer windows, while the ground floor has three casement windows. The entrance includes a panelled door in a lobby entry position, along with a richly carved door and doorcase featuring a shallow pointed arch, which is said to have come from Impington Hall. Inside, the house boasts two large inglenook hearths, stop-chamfered ceiling beams, and joists laid flat.
