Description

Farmhouse. The main range of this house dates to the late 16th century, with an addition to the east wing in the 17th century. It was restored in the late 1970s and has a roughly L-shaped plan. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with a roof of modern plain tiles, although some older plain tiles remain on the rear. It is two storeys high with an attic. The west-facing elevation has a three-window front with two-light and three-light casement windows. A 19th-century rendered brick porch now fronts the entrance, which has a modern boarded door. A prominent internal stack features four grouped octagonal flues, with moulded brick bases and caps. The interior retains much exposed timberwork.
