Description

Vine Cottage is a farmhouse with a core dating from the 17th to 18th century, which has been largely encased in 19th-century brick. The original structure is timber framed, while the red brick casing is most prominent on the left-hand gable. The building is a single storey with an attic and features a five-window range, consisting of two-light and three-light small pane casements, mostly set under segmental arches. There are three flat-roofed dormers, along with one internal stack and one external stack located on the left-hand side. At the rear, there is a 19th-century brick and pantiled wing that includes a 20th-century porch with a boarded door.
