Description

This barn, located 70 meters northwest of Westwood Lodge, dates back to the 16th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of 9 bays, measuring approximately 33 meters in total length. It features a middle rail in the wall framing and a roof supported by two rows of butt purlins, with wind bracing on the upper row. Four of the trusses have complete long arched braces, while two trusses retain one brace, and the rest have bolted knees.
