Description
Bulcamp House is a house with an early 17th century core that features an early to mid 19th century brick facade. It has been significantly extended to the east and north in the late 19th to early 20th century. The original structure is timber framed and is covered with white brick, while the later extensions are also in white brick. The roof is made of glazed pantiles and the house has two storeys.
The front of the house has an eight-window range, mostly consisting of 20th century small pane casements. On the left side, there are two large pane sash windows set in flush frames, along with a brick and slate porch that includes a six-panel fielded door and a rectangular fanlight. The right side of the house features two additional doorways with mid 20th century doors, one of which is located within a modern porch. The building has a brick dentil eaves cornice and two internal stacks. Inside, there are two notable fireplaces, one of which is an 18th century import, a 17th century semi-newel staircase, and some 17th century floorboarding.
