Description

32 Church Street is a building dating from 1852, located on the east side of Church Street. It is an early 18th-century structure with an early 19th-century shop front. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features two dormers. It is constructed of red brick and has a band below the parapet, with a tiled roof. There are two sash windows with flush frames, glazing bars, and flat arches. The wood shop front retains its original glazing bars and includes five pilasters, an entablature, and a wide central entrance door on the right, which is topped with a patterned fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 32 to 36 (even), The Bull Hotel, and No 2 Market Hill.
