Description
Number 23 on Church Street is a building from 1852, located on the southwest side. It is a two-storey structure with a timber frame and stucco finish. The first floor slightly overhangs, and there is a decorative band with keys above the first-floor windows. The building has a brick plinth and a tiled roof.
On the first floor, there is one casement window and two sash windows, all in flush frames. The ground floor features four sash windows in flush frames and a five-panel door, where the lower panel is divided into five sections by staggered diagonal rails with fielded panels. The entrance is accentuated by fluted Doric pilasters, a frieze with an incised geometrical pattern, and a pediment with a fret dentil design.
