Description
21 Church Street is a building dating from 1866, marked by an engraved tablet above the entrance that features the date and the initials RW. The structure is two to three storeys tall and has two gables, with the left gable being half hipped. It features square oriel windows that rise to the gables, each with four-light mullion transom casements. The oriels and gables are plastered and decorated with mock timbering. The main wall is constructed of red brick, accented with black doper bands. A stack with clustered diagonally set shafts is present. The entrance includes a six-panel door, a leaded oblong fanlight, and a stone lintel. The buildings numbered 1 to 25 on this side of Church Street form a group.
