Description
Rose Cottage is a house dated 1841, marked with the initials WG in blue headers. It is constructed of red brick featuring a diaper pattern in blue headers, with rubble stone at the rear. The building has dentilled eaves and a slate roof, with a brick stack positioned to the right. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The outer bays on the ground floor have 20th-century canted oriel windows, while the first floor features 19th-century paired barred casements. The central entrance consists of a boarded door topped with a flat wooden hood supported by minimal brackets, along with a small stone tablet adorned with geometric ornamentation above it. To the right, there are single-storey brick extensions with concrete tile roofs and similar windows. The cottage is included for its group value.
