Description

The Old White Hart is a small house that was formerly an inn, dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and has a thatched roof. There is an external stack at the left gable, featuring a whitewashed rubble stone base with a brick shaft, and another brick stack located between the right-hand bays. The building has 1½ storeys and consists of five bays. The windows are irregular C20 barred wooden casements, with shutters on the ground floor bays two and four. The first floor has only three windows, all set within the thatch. A ledged door is situated in the central bay.
