2. There is a date of 1553 which may be authentic. There is some contemporary and other half timber work to be seen, but the building is very much a period reproduction, both inside and out. The street front shows half timber and plaster, 2 storeys with overhanging 1st floor. There is an C18 panelled room at the rear. NMR photo.
