Description
17 Market Place is a 17th-century building that was originally stables and a loft, but was converted into a house around 1980. It features a timber-frame structure that is plastered and colourwashed, with one gable end covered in weatherboarding. The roof is made of pantiles and has a rebuilt end stack.
The exterior is two stories high and has a three-window range. The entrance front includes a central half-glazed door flanked by late 20th-century casement windows on both sides. On the first floor, there are two 20th-century casements and one early 19th-century three-light casement window to the right. The gable end facing the street has no openings. The interior has not been inspected.
