Description

This icehouse, located 350 meters west-southwest of Heveningham Hall, dates from the early 19th century and has had repairs made in the 20th century. It features a brick dome approximately 3 meters in diameter, with an entrance passageway on the north side. Both the dome and the entrance are partially buried and topped with a thatched roof. The entrance has a crowstepped gable and an outer plank door, although the inner door is now missing.
