Description

The icehouse, located approximately 0.5 kilometers northeast of The Hall in Brockhall, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a short passage with a segmental-headed entrance that leads into a semi-circular brick vault. This vault connects to a grating in the dome of the inner storage chamber, and there may be an alternative access point. The icehouse is situated near the former kitchen garden of The Hall, Brockhall.
