Description

The garden terrace walling located immediately to the south of Heveningham Hall dates back to 1879. It is constructed of white brick with some stucco work and stands approximately one metre high. The wall features piers topped with stone urns. A central feature includes two short flights of steps that lead to an axial path, with additional steps located a short distance to the south. At the southwest corner, the walling connects to the house through a taller section that has a pediment and a recess for statuary. This structure is included for its group value with the hall.
