Store in Kitchen Garden at Heveningham Hall

The store in the kitchen garden at Heveningham Hall is an early 19th-century building located in the northeast corner of the kitchen garden. It is constructed of colourwashed red brick, with a rendered south elevation. The building is single storey and features two lunette windows, two arched doorways, and a wide main doorway with a four-centre arch and fluted keystone, similar to the serpentine wall nearby. On the south side, there is a late 19th-century pantiled canopy with a decorative timber fascia. The structure has three Suffolk gault brick stacks. A platform on the south side is accessed by stone steps with cast iron balustrades; this area likely served as a heating chamber for the adjacent greenhouse, of which only the foundations remain. At the time of the survey, the building was undergoing conversion to residential use.
