Description

Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with an early 19th century brick wing added to the right side. It was restored in the mid-20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and an attic, following a three-cell plan. The front features two 19th century three-light casement windows, a lobby entrance with a four-panel door that has glazed upper panels, and two segmental-headed dormers on the first floor. Inside, there is an original internal stack, and the newel stairs have been preserved.
