Description
This ice house, located about 125 metres east-south-east of Rownhams House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a circular shape with a domed roof. The entrance features a vaulted brick tunnel on the north side, which includes a plain doorway, and the entire structure is covered with earth. A distinctive characteristic of this ice house is the chimney-like vent situated on the top of the dome.
