Description
Bargain Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse featuring a three-bay lobby-entrance design, with an outshot on the east side and some early 19th-century recladding. The walls display exposed framing that is bricknogged, with brickwork present at the ends and rear. The roof is thatched, hipped at the east end and low at the eaves, while the west end is half-hipped. The eaves are raised above the upper windows and lowered on posts to create a porch. The north front elevation has one storey and an attic, with three windows above a configuration of one, two, and one windows. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame.
