Description

Little Staplewood is a 17th-century farmhouse with a lobby-entrance design. The building features an exposed timber frame, primarily visible in the upper part, with painted brick infill and other walling. It has a thatched roof that is hipped at both ends and has low eaves above the outshots, with the eaves raised above the dormers. The southeast front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with two storeys above four windows. The windows are 20th-century casements. There is a plain doorway with a 20th-century gabled porch, supported by brick columns and featuring glazed sides.
