Description

Trotts Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed lobby-entrance house located in Trotts Lane, Totton and Eling. The house has an exposed timber frame with brick infill painted onto it. It is topped by a thatched roof, which lowers to the eaves on each side. The north front elevation has one storey and an attic, with a layout of two windows on the upper floor and four below. Casement windows are present, with two projecting beneath tiled hoods. A boarded floor is visible within a plain frame, below a gabled hood with decorative fascia.
