Description
Kennels Cottage is an early 19th-century lodge located on Marchwood Road. It is constructed of rendered brick and features an overhanging thatch roof supported by rustic tree-trunk posts, with a brick chimney. The building is single-storey and has two bays, with a verandah surrounding it. A 20th-century conservatory has been added under the verandah at one end. The front of the cottage includes Gothic pointed casements in each bay and a glazed door near the right-hand end. The ends of the building are rounded, and the roof is hipped with a central ridge stack.
