Description

The Belt Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge built in a vernacular style. It features colourwashed brick and a hipped thatched roof. The building is one storey high with a part-attic and has a large eaves overhang supported by rustic timber posts. The windows are casements with four-centred arched heads and dripmoulds. A central rendered polygonal chimney stack is also present. There is a modern gabled wing added to the east side of the lodge.
