Description

Millgate Stores, at Nos 22, 24, and 26 Millgate, Aysham, is a building dating from the late 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has a hipped pantile roof. The building is two storeys high. The first floor has three sash windows, each with a cambered arch. A modern full-width shop front is present. Three plain brick pilasters are visible, and there is an eaves cornice. An L-shaped gabled wing extends to the east, featuring three chimney stacks.
