Description

3 and 5 Millgate form an early 19th century pair of houses. They are constructed of flint with colourwashed brick dressings, and have a pantile roof. The houses are two storeys high, with four sash windows on the first floor and two sash windows on the ground floor. There are two entrance doors, each with a canopy supported by console brackets. The gables are parapeted and have coped details, with red brick chimney stacks. Bracketed eaves are present, along with a central decorative panel at first floor level.
