Description

Number 9 Millgate is an early 19th-century building constructed of pebble flint with colorwashed brick dressings and a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and features two sash windows on the first floor, with a blank central opening. The ground floor has two bay windows topped with lead roofs. The gables are parapeted and have internal chimney stacks made of grey bricks, while the gables themselves are rendered. There is a rendered and colorwashed extension to the north, as well as a two-storey gabled wing to the west, which is also rendered and colorwashed.
