Description
Nos 26, 28 and the Methodist Chapel are late 19th-century buildings located on the south side of White Hart Street in Aylsham. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with flat rubbed brick arches. The entrances consist of six-panelled doors framed by moulded surrounds, and there are brick corner pilasters.
The Methodist Chapel has a three-bay facade that is parapeted, with a central bay that features a pediment and a semi-circular headed tripartite window adorned with decorated spandrels. Above this window is a stucco hood mould with a key block. The chapel also has brick pilasters with moulded caps and a string course, along with fixed side windows that have semi-circular heads and painted brick arches. A projecting porch with a pediment features semi-circular headed openings.
