Description
The Round House is a lodge built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a red brick exterior that has been colourwashed and a conical thatched roof with a single circular brick chimney stack at the top. The building has a circular plan and is a single storey with a two-bay front that is recessed behind a verandah supported by four facetted wooden pillars. On the front, there is a single planked door, with a similar blocked opening to the left, both topped with Tudor arched heads. To the right, there is a single two-light glazing bar casement window with Gothick tracery above the Tudor arched head. Additionally, there is a similar window on the left side of the building.
