Description

ANWICK MAIN STREET TF 15 SW (south side) 1/7 No.62 The County Forge II

House, shoeing bay and forge in the Gothick taste. Early C19, altered C20. Red brick, colourwashed, some render, slate roofs, hipped and conical, overhanging eaves. 2 circular apex stacks, single square ridge stack, all with top bands. In plan, 2 circular units are linked by a hipped rectangular block. Single storey irregular 8 bay front. To left a planked door is flanked by 3 light plain casements. Beyond to the right are 2 C20 2 light casements, double planked doors with plain overlights, a 2 light casement with Gothick traceried Tudor arched head, a further planked door and 2 similar windows.
