Description

This is a late 18th-century house, originally built as a pair. The walls are of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plinth, cambered arches, and dentilled eaves. The roof is tiled, with two gabled dormers. The northeast elevation is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and an attic, with four windows. These windows are sash windows in exposed frames. On the south side of the house (number 5), there's a doorway with an architrave and a six-panelled door (with two upper glazed panels), set within a 19th-century shallow trellis porch. The north side doorway has been filled in with brickwork. This building possesses group value from being part of a cohesive group of buildings, contributing to the wider streetscape.
