Description

Easy Heath Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations and repairs in the early 20th century. It features brick nogged timber framing on a stone base, with repairs made in washed brick. The roof is thatched and covered with corrugated asbestos, and there is one brick chimney at the ridge. The building has a lobby-entry plan and is one storey with an attic, presenting a three-bay south front. The facade includes nine small regular frames with angle braces at the corners. The left end bay is blank, while the middle bay has two-light casements with glazing bars, with the upper window set in a half-dormer. A board door is located behind a flimsy porch in the right end bay. The gable ends have been repaired in brick, and while the timber framing of the rear wall remains intact, it is partly obscured by a brick extension. The interior has not been inspected.
