Description

Mee's House, also known as No 6 (The Cottage), Hazeldene, and The Nook, is an 18th-century building located on Old Redbridge Road. The structure is not uniform and consists of two storeys. Mee's House is constructed of red brick, while The Cottage is made of grey brick with red brick dressings. Hazeldene and The Nook are now finished in painted brick. The building features an old tiled roof and an eaves cornice. There are ten windows in total, each with cambered stone heads and keystones. The left side has 19th-century sash windows, while the right side has iron casements with glazing bars. An early 19th-century Tuscan columned porch is present at Mee's House, and hoods on brackets are found on the other houses.
