Description

Poplar Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 16th century, with an early 18th-century dairy range positioned to the left side. The building is timber framed and plastered, with some sections featuring colourwashed brick casing, and it has a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of a three-cell main range. The windows are casement style from the 18th and 19th centuries, and there is a boarded entrance door to the main range as well as a boarded half-door to the dairy range. Each section of the farmhouse has its own internal stack. Additionally, there is a lean-to on the left side of the dairy range, which has slatted windows.
