Description
The Old Post Office is a house, likely originally connected to the nearby Bridge House, dating from the 17th century, with a later extension to the east. It features a timber frame with plastering and a brick end gable on the west side, topped by a roof of modern concrete pantiles. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with large pane casements from the mid-20th century on the ground floor and 19th-century two-light and three-light casements on the first floor. The doorway is asymmetrical, featuring a mid-20th-century gabled brick porch and a modern half-glazed door. There is one internal stack and one external stack located on the west gable.
