Description

April Cottage is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. The building is a single storey with an attic and features a two-window range with casement windows. There is one original two-light metal frame casement window located at the right-hand gable end. The cottage also has an eyebrow dormer and a rendered external stack. To the left side, there is a single-storey extension made of rendered brick and pantiles, along with a lean-to extension at the rear, which uses similar materials. Both extensions have modern boarded doors.
