Description
The Rectory is a late 18th-century building, possibly with an earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick and features a roof made of modern concrete plain tiles, with a bay of white brick that has a slated roof. The building has two storeys and an attic.
The main front has a three-window range, excluding the bay, with sash windows that have glazing bars in cased frames and flat brick arches. A notable feature is the fine doorway, which includes fluted pilasters, a broken pediment, a six-panel bolection moulded door, and a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. To the left side, there is an early 19th-century two-light round bay with curved sash windows. The left return front has a five-window range, with two blank panels on the first floor and two modern flat-roofed dormers. On the right side, there is a further range in a similar style, featuring a brick modillion cornice at the eaves.
