Description

Originally a single house, now divided into two cottages, Holly Cottages dates to the late 17th or early 18th century. The building is timber framed with a plaster exterior and painted brick facing on the front, topped by a pantiled roof. It is a single-story structure with an attic. The windows are 2-light and 3-light casements, one with boarded shutters, and feature segmental arches. A boarded door is located on the right-hand side, where a window once stood. There are two flat-roofed dormers, along with a brick band and dentil cornice to the eaves. A mid-20th century painted brick extension is present on the right-hand side, and further extensions have been added to the left.
