Description
This is a brick barn dating from the late 18th century, located to the west of the former service range of Valley Farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick and features a thatched roof. The barn has two boarded half-doors with smaller loft doors above, although one of these has been converted into a window. There are also two mid-20th century vehicular entrances. The gable ends have parapets with tumbled brickwork. Inside, the barn has a three-bay roof supported by two rows of butt purlins and a ridge piece, but the intermediate floor has been removed. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
