Description

This barn dates to the late 18th century and is located north of White House Cottage. It is constructed of brick with a red pantiled roof, featuring a flint gable on the east side. The barn was built with a three-bay plan and has central, full-height doors. A brick dentil cornice runs along the top. The east gable is of flint, clunch, and brick with a coped parapet and brick ventilation slits. Attached to the south is a red-brick lean-to outshut, to the north a brick lean-to outshut, and to the west a single-storey flint and brick range. The barn is included on the list for its group value.
