Description

The village pump opposite number 23 in Somerleyton dates from 1859. It is made of cast iron and designed in the shape of an obelisk, standing on a stone base. The handle has been replaced. One side of the pump features the name of the manufacturer, 'RANSOME & SIMS IPSWICH'. This pump is included for its group value.
