Description

This is a house, originally two cottages, likely dating from the 16th century and restored around 1900. The house is timber-framed, with plaster rendering and a thatched roof. It has one and a half storeys and is divided into two sections, the one on the right being slightly higher. There are 18th- and 19th-century two-light casement windows, two in each section. A central gabled porch provides access to a plank door. A small eyebrow dormer is located on the left side, with two dormers on the right. The interior contains exposed timbering, though it has been altered. One section has a blocked first-floor window with a five-light diamond-mullion design. A substantial internal chimney stack sits between the two ranges, alongside a smaller gable end stack.
