Description

A house, now divided into three cottages, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The structure is timber-framed with brick infill in the 17th century section, and mostly pebbledashed in the 18th century. The roof is thatched. The building originally comprised a two-bay structure from the 16th century, to which a 17th-century bay and an outshot were added to the right end. A door is located at the inner end of the left bay, protected by a slated, gabled timber and glass porch with a 19th-century two-light casement window to the left. A further door with a baffle entry is at the right end of the central bay, also with a slated, gabled timber porch and a 20th-century window to the left. The outer right bay has a door, accompanied by a 20th-century tiled gabled timber porch, a 20th-century window to the left, and a 19th-century three-light casement window in the outshot. Three eyebrow dormers are situated above the main building, each featuring a 19th-century two-light casement window. The roof has a decorated ridge piece, half-hipped on the left side, a lower ridge on the 17th-century section and is swept down over the outshot. Ridge stacks are positioned at either end of the 17th-century part of the house.
