Description

Riverside Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays. The central bay includes a top-glazed door that is sheltered by a 20th-century timber porch with a gabled tiled roof. On either side of the central bay, there are three-light casement windows with camber heads made of soldier courses, topped with a course of blue headers. Above each of these windows, there is another three-light casement. All the windows are fitted with horizontal glazing bars. At the rear, the roof extends over a one-and-a-half-story addition, and there is a brick stack at the gable end.
